It originally could be obtained after completing a ToonTask offered by Professor Prepostera during the Silly Particle search, then it could be obtained again after completing a ToonTask offered by Doctor Surlee during Operation: P.L.U.S.H. Patrol.

- In Toontown Online, Doctor Surlee's cardboard cutout, along with other cardboard cutouts of Professor Prepostera, Doctor Dimm and the Silly Meter, was displayed inside Toon Hall whenever he and the Scientoons were absent due to the Silly Meter needing repairs.
