Talk:Advice from Jesse Schell/@comment-9467233-20150112224922/@comment-24874291-20150113054125

From Toontown Rewritten Wiki

I wonder if that will catch on if I use it too... I stubbed my toe. #BlameDynaboom

1. It's a page to make this easy to link to and easy to discover. I think a Page suits this better than a Blog Post would. It's relevant because this is a huge moment for the Toontown Community. Some Blog Posts on the TTR Website link to it, so the TTR Team thinks it's important enough to be remembered too.

2. The links in the "See Also" section weren't put in one the reposts of Jesse Schell's actual Post because you could mess up the quote by changing the link. He talked about "Toon Parties", but we don't have a page for that. It seems like Party Grounds is taking its place right now. I didn't get why you thought those links were useless... until I remembered you said this whole thing was useless.

Maybe it wasn't as relevant in the days of Disney's Toontown Online, but the Toontown community is so much more important to Toontown Rewritten. It's the community that decrypted the secret Blueprints. It's the community that discovered Lawbot HQ (the release notes actually said "Build a tunnel to the player-discovered Lawbot HQ"). And on August 26, 2014, the community was the ripple affect. That's why Doctor Surlee showed up in the Golf area to investigate.

I know I gave up on the Cogs Page long ago, but there are a few Pages I've been working really hard on lately and I haven't given up on them. That's why I've been so hard on the Doctor Surlee Page, the Portable Hole Network Page, and the Bypasses I've made to crisscross between the various Playground, Building, and Cog HQ Pages.

I think Jesse Schell's Advice is worth remembering and worth the 3 hours and 13,000+ Characters it took me to start this page. If Jesse Schell got to be in TTR's opening credits, then why can't we have this Page?
