Translating the Tooniverse was a project aimed to add multi-language support for Toontown Rewritten by automatically translating SpeedChat phrases based on a player's preferred language, which was announced on September 13, 2014.[1] Further backstage information on the project was discussed during OMG!Con 2015. Development on the project was put on hold.
Trivia
- Former members of the Toontown Rewritten Team such as Goshi, Alpha Centauri, and Shnutzer were the only translators. Goshi maintained French, Alpha Centauri maintained German, and Shnutzer maintained Polish.
