Name Rewrite, otherwise known as Change Your Name, is a rewrite that can be purchased from the "Special" section of Clarabelle's Cattlelog for 10,000 jellybeans, which allows Toons to change their name. This can be done only once per year and the change is permanent until then.
Name Rewrite arrives in a Toon's mailbox six hours after purchasing. Once Name Rewrite is obtained from the mailbox, a "Rename Your Toon!" button appears on the respective Toon that is being renamed. After choosing to rename, the player is be able to select a name from a list of pre-generated names or type a name for their Toon. Selecting a name leads to an immediate change, but typing a name goes through the same approval process that a new Toon would go through. If the player is satisfied with the change, their Toon returns back to Toontown upon accepting the change.
