The Hardwood Rod is the third fishing rod that can be purchased from Clarabelle's Cattlelog for 800 jellybeans in Series 1, Issue #4 and beyond. If the Bamboo Rod is not purchased before Series 1, Issue #4, the Hardwood Rod appears in the following Cattlelog issue after it is purchased. It requires three jellybeans per cast and can catch fish up to 12 pounds in weight.
