The Steel Rod is the fourth fishing rod that can be purchased from Clarabelle's Cattlelog for 1,200 jellybeans in Series 1, Issue #6 and beyond. If the Hardwood Rod is not purchased before Series 1, Issue #6, the Steel Rod appears in the following Cattlelog issue after it is purchased. It requires four jellybeans per cast and can catch fish up to 16 pounds in weight.
