Trap

From Toontown Rewritten Wiki

Trap is a gag track with perfect accuracy and is available once a Toon completes their assigned ToonTasks when selecting the track for training. Lure is required for Trap gags to be activated, which provides a guaranteed chance of the gags damaging Cogs, but cannot be used on Cogs that are already lured. Due to Lure's requirement, Trap is the most accurate gag track; it is also the most powerful gag track. Trap gags are the second set of gags used during Cog battles.

Advantages and disadvantages

Advantages

  • Trap is the most powerful gag track in terms of being comprised of gags that deal the highest damage.
  • Trap gags are guaranteed to damage Cogs as long as they are successfully lured.
  • Trap gags count as hits against Cogs even when not activated, providing a 20% boost in base accuracy to Lure gags and gags from other tracks while still subjected to the base accuracy cap of 95%.
    • Mutliple Trap gags stack. For example, using two Trap gags provides a 40% boost in base accuracy.
  • Railroad and organic TNT are two gags capable of defeating level 12 Cogs in one hit.

Disadvantages

  • More than one Trap gag cannot be used on the same Cog as they cancel each other out.
  • Trap gags cannot be placed in front of Cogs that are already lured.
  • Skill points are only yielded for Trap gags when Cogs are lured onto them.
