Cog Thief is a Trolley minigame. It can be played by one or more Toons.
Objective
The objective of the minigame is to throw their Whole Cream Pies at the Cogs to defeat them, while protecting four gag barrels in the center of the arena. If Toons lose all four barrels, a message at the end would say "NO BARRELS SAVED." If Toons save at least one barrel, they win and receive jellybeans. Cogs not only try to steal barrels but can also chase after Toons. If a Toon interacts with a Cog, they are launched into the air and fall back down.

The following controls are default but can be altered from the Options menu based on a player's personal preferences.

Trivia
- During the Alpha stage of Toontown Rewritten, it was originally named Robot Thief. After the Cogs' debut, the minigame was renamed to Cog Thief.
- In Toontown Online, it had a playground-based arena and was playable from an overhead view. The Toontown Rewritten Team changed the minigame to have a standard view and use the scrapped Toon Tag arena for Daisy Gardens from Toontown Online.
