ToonFest at OMG!Con 2016 was Toontown Rewritten's second real world ToonFest event that celebrated the 13th anniversary of Toontown Online. The event took place at OMG!Con in Owensboro, Kentucky from June 10th to June 12th, 2016. Sometime after the convention, recordings of the main event panel, the Rewriting Toontown panel, and the Toontown pie toss were posted on YouTube.

Apparel
Players could redeem the code "omgcon2016" in their Shticker Book from July 1st to August 1st to obtain the ToonFest 2016 Blue Backpack and ToonFest 2016 Pink Backpack. Attendees could also redeem exclusive codes offered at the convention to obtain the ToonFest 2016 Blue Attendee Backpack and ToonFest 2016 Pink Attendee Backpack.
Main event
Content revealed during the main event panel[1] were:
- Toontown Rewritten trailer titled "It's Different In Our Town"[2]
- Behind the scenes development of Toontown Retextured and Toontown Rerigged
- Virtual reality simulator of Toon Hall
- The Toontown Species Election
Merchandise
At the convention, three trading cards (Flippy, Doctor Surlee, and Robber Baron) alongside a "Greetings from Toontown!" postcard were available for attendees to receive. On July 2, 2016, Member Mailers were introduced with an end date of July 31st to allow players a chance to receive the trading cards and postcard.
