Codes
Codes are what can be redeemed from the "Options & Codes" page of the Shticker Book in order to obtain items that are usually not obtainable by means of normal gameplay. When viewing said page, SpeedChat and SpeedChat+ cannot be used.

Permanent codes
The following codes are permanently active and can be redeemed by all players.
- two-million[2]
The following codes are permanently active but can only be redeemed by players with Toontown Rewritten account eligibility.
- flip-for-flippy[3] - only available to players who created an account before June 2, 2014
- dont-be-wacky[3] - only available to players who created an account before June 2, 2014
- beta-bughunt[3] - only available to players who created an account before September 19, 2014, and activated a Beta key
- patience-pays[3] - only available to players who created an account before September 19, 2014
- toonfest2014[3] - only available to players who created an account before the end of ToonFest 2014
- test-of-time[4] - only available to players who created an account before October 21, 2023
Event codes
The following codes are known to be active during certain events but may have inconsistent activation dates.
- silly-summer-fun - available between August 7th and August 23rd for the Summer
- coming-to-town - available between December 21st and December 30th for the Winter Holiday
- on-the-shelf - available between December 21st and December 30th for the Winter Holiday
Exclusive codes
Certain codes, usually containing a series of letters and numbers, offer exclusive items. Such codes are obtainable during real world ToonFest events, from official Toontown Rewritten giveaways and/or community giveaways, and through Delivery Drops.

Redeeming codes
Depending on the circumstance of redeeming a code, a popup appears saying whether the code was successfully redeemed, whether the item associated with the code had already been obtained, whether the code had expired, whether the code is invalid, whether the player is eligible to redeem the code, or whether the player's Toon already owns the item associated with the code. In cases of an issue concerning Toontown Rewritten's game-wide services, a popup may appear saying the feature itself is nonfunctional.

- ↑ The code, which offered the Party Planner Hat, was made available following a maintenance incident in which all districts were accidentally taken down on June 2, 2023.
- ↑ The code, which offered the Silly Trash Can Shirt, was made available following an incident where a two-star Sellbot Field Office was accidentally "deleted" while fixing a stuck three-star Sellbot Field Office on December 22, 2023.
