Toontown Remastered

Toontown Remastered is a project aimed to completely overhaul the visuals and music of Toontown Rewritten, which was announced during ToonFest: Birthday Bash on May 26, 2023, with a YouTube video showing a remastered version of Donald's Dreamland. Development progress was discussed during ToonFest: The Great Fanfair on May 24, 2024, where it was stated that there are plans to rebuild, remaster, and reimagine. The project serves as a successor to the canceled Toontown Retextured project, intending to be released on a playground-by-playground basis by introducing remastered textures, remodeled assets, and reinvigorated music tracks. On August 23, 2024, Flippy formally announced that the Toon Council has plans to give Toontown a "Toon-Up".

Cog facilities

As part of the Under New Management update, Cog facilities received remastered assets.

Donald's Dreamland and the Cashbot Vault

In the 4.1.0 update that was released on September 19, 2024, Donald's Dreamland and the Cashbot Vault in Cashbot Headquarters received remastered assets. Donald's Dreamland was reimagined with the blanket dragged up on the bed, a giant teddy bear lying on the blanket, and several blocks placed in the far corners of the playground.

ToonTasks

In the 4.2.0 update that was released on April 25, 2025, the ToonTask system received new objectives and improved graphics.

The Brrrgh

In the 4.3.0 update that was released during ToonFest Orlando on August 8, 2025, The Brrrgh received remastered assets. There is a new ice-skating mechanic in The Brrrgh where Toons can skate with the click of a button.
