Toontown Remastered
Toontown Remastered is a project aimed to completely overhaul the visuals and music of Toontown Rewritten, which was announced on May 26, 2023, during ToonFest: Birthday Bash, with a YouTube video showing a remastered version of Donald's Dreamland.[1] Development progress was discussed on May 24, 2024, during ToonFest: The Great Fanfair, where it was stated that there are plans to rebuild, remaster, and reimagine. The project serves as a successor to the canceled Toontown Retextured project, intending to be released on a playground-by-playground basis by introducing remastered textures, remodeled assets, and reinvigorated music tracks. On August 23, 2024, Flippy formally announced that the Toon Council has plans to give Toontown a "Toon-Up".[2]
Cog facilities
As part of the Under New Management update, Cog facilities received remastered assets.
Donald's Dreamland and the Cashbot Vault
In the 4.1.0 update that was released on September 19, 2024, Donald's Dreamland and the Cashbot Vault received remastered assets. Donald's Dreamland was also reimagined with the blanket dragged up on the bed, a giant teddy bear lying on the blanket, and several blocks placed in the far corners of the playground.
