ToonFest at GalaxyCon 2024 refers to Toontown Rewritten's seventh and eighth real world ToonFest events that celebrated the 10th anniversary of Toontown Rewritten. The first of these two events, ToonFest: The Great Fanfair, took place at GalaxyCon in the Oklahoma City Convention Center, from May 24th to May 26th, 2024. The Toontown Rewritten Team announced the event on January 30, 2024, along with a "ToonFest Preview" meetup on May 23rd and a ToonFest at home experience. A multitude of panels and activities alongside a single backstage occurred as shown in the event schedule.^[1]

Alongside the announcement of ToonFest: The Great Fanfair, mentions of a "ToonFest Mini" event were also made. On July 25, 2024, the event was announced to be ToonFest Columbus that took place at GalaxyCon in the Greater Columbus Convention Center, from December 6th to December 8th. More panels and activities alongside two backstages occurred as shown in the event schedule.^[2]

For ToonFest Columbus, players could redeem the code "galaxycon-2024" in the Shticker Book to obtain the ToonFest Columbus Blue Winter Hat. No attendee items were created for this event.

Silly Scavenger Hunt

One of the activities for ToonFest Columbus was the Silly Scavenger Hunt where attendees and players at home could participate by unraveling riddles, gathering clues, and solving a secret phrase. From December 8th to December 20th, 2024, by completing the Silly Scavenger Hunt, attendees earned prizes provided at the convention and players at home earned a code that can be redeemed in the Shticker Book to obtain the ToonFest 2015 Blue Shoes and ToonFest 2015 Pink Shoes or the ToonFest 2016 Blue Backpack and ToonFest 2016 Pink Backpack. A PDF of the Silly Scavenger Hunt activity sheet containing instructions was provided.^[6]

Merchandise

For ToonFest: The Great Fanfair, a wallpaper depicting several Toontown community members and a Spin Doctor at a Fanfair Festival carnival was created to celebrate at home and released to download on desktop and mobile devices. At the convention, a booklet, a large poster depicting the Supervisor Cogs and Toon Resistance, three trading cards (Token Taker Ted, treasures, and Virtual Skelecogs), and a "Dazzling Doodle Circus" postcard were available for attendees to receive.

For ToonFest Columbus, a bifold, two trading cards (Holly Daze and Jaymo), and a "Greetings from The Brrrgh!" postcard were available for attendees to receive at the convention.
