The event took place at the ReplayFX Arcade & Gaming Festival in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from July 26th to July 29th, 2018. Activities such as the kickoff with Jesse Schell and Shawn Patton, the main event panel, and the Q&A with the Toontown Rewritten Team panel were streamed live on YouTube and Twitch. Before the convention, several YouTube videos were uploaded where Jesse Schell and Shawn Patton answered the internet's most searched questions about Toontown and spoke about their personal Toontown stories.

ARG scavenger hunt
An ARG scavenger hunt was held for attendees to solve puzzles and find missing pieces of a Cog memo.[2] The memo was originally too difficult to decrypt and was later reworked for a future ARG on April 29, 2019, that led to Operation: Crash Cashbot Headquarters.[3]
