Fishing
Fishing is an activity where Toons can catch fish to add to their collection and receive jellybeans by selling the fish. As a Toon catches fish, they earn trophies and obtain laff boosts. Up to 70 different fish species can be caught.
In addition to fish, objects such as old boots and jellybean jars can also be caught. Catching an old boot does not grant jellybeans but can be used for filling any square on a bingo card during Fish Bingo. Jellybean jars instantly award Toons with a certain number of jellybeans, depending on the fishing rod being used.
Ponds
A pond is a small body of water, located in every playground (excluding Goofy Speedway) and on every street, where Toons can find fish. To begin fishing, a Toon can simply step onto an unused dock. The cast button must be held down, pulled back, and released to aim at a shadow; a successful cast leads to a fish or object being caught. Fish are indicated by circular shadows in the water. A maximum of 20 fish can be held in the bucket at once, then the fish must be sold to a fisherman, a Pet Shop clerk, or their estate's fishing bucket. If a Toon receives more jellybeans in payment than they can carry, extra jellybeans move to their jellybean bank at their estate. By simply catching and selling fish, there is no need for Toons to repeatedly deposit jellybeans in their jellybean bank.
Fishing rods
- Main page: Fishing rod
A fishing rod is a device that is used to catch fish. Toons always start with the lowest tier fishing rod, the Twig Rod. Several upgrades can be purchased from Clarabelle's Cattlelog; a new rod becomes available in the next two Cattlelog issues after possessing the previous rod. The highest tier rod is essential to catch new fish species, which could not be caught using the previous rod, but costs an additional jellybean for each cast. There is no other disadvantage to an upgraded rod because it can also catch smaller fish.

Fish
- Main page: Fish
Fish are sea creatures that can be fished from ponds. There are a total of 70 fish species. Once caught, they are stored in a Toon's fishing bucket and can be sold to fishermen and Pet Shop clerks in exchange for jellybeans. For every 10 new fish species a Toon catches, they earn a fishing trophy and a laff boost. Some fish can only be caught with a specific type of fishing rod due to their weight.
Visit the main page for more information on fish.
Fish Bingo
Fish Bingo occurs on Wednesdays for 24 hours and on Silly Saturdays for a couple hours. From Classic to Blockout, Toons can play various bingo modes to earn extra jellybeans. Bingo modes include Classic (10 jellybeans), Four Corners (20 jellybeans), Diagonals (40 jellybeans), Three Way (80 jellybeans), and Blockout (10,000 jellybeans). Blockout, however, only occurs at the beginning of an hour.
Toons may click the squares on the bingo card that is shown in the bottom right corner of their screen. A Toon can click a matching square to mark a specific type of fish when caught. Once all the required squares are marked, a Toon can click the "BINGO" button and earn jellybeans. Only Toons who are present at the docks may receive jellybeans.
Trophies
For every 10 new fish species a Toon catches, they earn a fishing trophy and a laff boost. There are seven trophies in total for 70 fish, which accumulates to a total of seven laff boosts from all seven trophies earned. Trophies are:
- Guppy
- Minnow
- Fish
- Flying Fish
- Shark
- Swordfish
- Killer Whale
By catching 70 fish and therefore earning the above trophies to max fishing, a Toon is awarded the Profishional Angler Outfit.
