Events

ToonFest 2014

ToonFest 2014 was an event that marked the beginning of Toontown Rewritten's Open Beta stage, the first anniversary of Toontown Rewritten, and one year since the closure of Toontown Online. The event began on September 19, 2014, and lasted until September 28, 2014. Codes were released for Flippy's Election Shirt, Slappy's Election Shirt, the Squirt Outfit, the Beta Bug Hunter Outfit, and the ToonFest 2014 Outfit, all of which can be redeemed at any time by players, depending on their Toontown Rewritten account eligibility.

On April 1, 2015, ToonFest returned, renamed as "Barbecue Headquarters", during April Toons Week. This was a prank that led Toons to believe that Bossbot Headquarters was discovered by Team LHAAFBBHQ. The dark ominous tunnel from Chip 'n Dale's MiniGolf that normally leads to Bossbot Headquarters served as a temporary entrance to ToonFest, replacing the pre-existing Mystery Tunnel at the time.

ToonFest 2015

ToonFest 2015 was an event that marked the second anniversary of Toontown Rewritten and two years since the closure of Toontown Online. The event was the first of many to be extended for a month-long celebration, and also introduced limited-time prizes (clothing and accessories), a Toon color called ToonFest Blue, and a currency known as ToonFest tokens.

ToonFest 2016

ToonFest 2016 was an event that marked the third anniversary of Toontown Rewritten and three years since the closure of Toontown Online. Due to unforeseen delays concerning server maintenance, the event began on September 30, 2016, and lasted until December 5, 2016. Despite the ToonFest Grounds being unable to open on September 19th, the ToonFest celebration continued by coinciding with the Toontown Species Election held by Alec Tinn. Introduced in ToonFest 2016 were pie purchases and merry multipliers, along with additional new clothing and accessories.

ToonFest 2017

ToonFest 2017 was an event that marked the fourth anniversary of Toontown Rewritten and four years since the closure of Toontown Online. The event began on September 19, 2017, and lasted until October 20, 2017. Introduced in ToonFest 2017 were the duck tank and the Loco Locomotive Set.

ToonFest 2018

ToonFest 2018 was an event that marked the fifth anniversary of Toontown Rewritten and five years since the closure of Toontown Online. The event began on September 19, 2018, and lasted until October 20, 2018.

ToonFest 2019

ToonFest 2019 was an event that marked the sixth anniversary of Toontown Rewritten and six years since the closure of Toontown Online. The event began on September 19, 2019, and lasted until October 20, 2019. Introduced in ToonFest 2019 was a Toon color called ToonFest Pink. The ToonFest Tower eventually lost the letter "F" from its logo, which caused Riggy Marole to decide on allowing Toons to vote on a new name for the event, eventually announced to be Cartoonival.

Toon-est 2020

Toon-est 2020 was an event that marked the seventh anniversary of Toontown Rewritten and seven years since the closure of Toontown Online. The event began on September 19, 2020, and lasted until October 20, 2020. Due to shipping delays, the Cartoonival brand did not arrive in time for the event, thus being referred to as "Toon-est" once more.
