Re-Quested
Re-Quested is Toontown Rewritten's major update that was released as the 4.4.0 update on June 27, 2026.[1] It was announced to be developed under the Next Update project during ToonFest Orlando on August 8, 2025. The update introduced over 50 new ToonTasks to revamp the tasklines in Donald's Dreamland, Lawbot Headquarters, and Bossbot Headquarters.
Two playtests for the Re-Quested update were conducted in October 2025 and June 2026 to gather feedback from Toontown community members before public launch.[2][3] The second playtest introduced numerous changes due to feedback regarding the first playtest.
New ToonTasks
Storyline ToonTasks
Donald's Dreamland ToonTasks, Lawbot Headquarters ToonTasks, and Bossbot Headquarters ToonTasks are tasklines comprised of new ToonTasks with a storyline. Toons earn various rewards and parts of the Cashbot Cog Disguise, Lawbot Cog Disguise, and Bossbot Cog Disguise by helping shopkeepers around Toontown as they progress through the ToonTasks.
Alternate ToonTasks
Alternate ToonTasks are available in the tasklines that allow Toons to bypass certain storyline ToonTasks where gags are required to be leveled up. These ToonTasks contain additional objectives imposing a greater challenge than the storyline ToonTasks.
Gag experience ToonTasks
New "Just for Fun!" ToonTasks are available that award skill points for gag tracks, which can be boosted by Silly Teams. Toons are allowed to carry one "Just for Fun!" ToonTask awarding skill points for a specific gag track at a time; for example, more than one "Just for Fun!" ToonTask awarding skill points for Throw gags cannot be carried.
Lawbot Headquarters and Bossbot Headquarters
As part of the Re-Quested update, Lawbot Headquarters and Bossbot Headquarters received remastered assets thanks to Toontown Remastered.
