Doomsday
Doomsday was an invasion initiated by the Cogs, including the Director of Ambush Marketing, to invade Toontown Central on the day of the Toon Council Presidential Elections being held. A level 3 Yesman unexpectedly arrived shortly after Slappy was announced as Toon Council president and proceeded to make him go sad, with Doomsday occurring afterward. Toons battled against the Cogs with the use of Flippy's Whole Cream Pies. With the help of Toons, Flippy managed to end the invasion by defeating the Director of Ambush Marketing with a Wedding Cake.
After Doomsday ended, it seemed as though the Cogs were defeated for good, but Toons had only managed to push them back to the streets and prevented them from entering the playgrounds. Along with the Toon Council Presidential Elections, Doomsday marked the conclusion of Toontown Rewritten's Alpha stage.
Streams
The original event was streamed live by Toontown Rewritten from their official YouTube channel on April 19, 2014, as well as many other members of the Toontown community.[1]
In celebration of Toontown Rewritten's fifth anniversary, an updated and remastered version of the Toon Council Presidential Elections (along with Doomsday) was streamed live through Twitch and YouTube, with commentary from the Toontown Rewritten Team, on September 29, 2018.[2]
Trivia
