Live, otherwise known as Production, is the current development stage of Toontown Rewritten after Beta that arrived with the 2.0.0 update released on September 1, 2017.[1] All players' Toons and their progress from Beta were not wiped.

Major features
Major features are central features that deal with the general gameplay of Toontown Rewritten. This list comprises the most notable major features.
- Grand Prix was released and bug fixes were made to racing as a whole.
- Parties returned with all activities available.
- Two new Toon species, crocodile and deer, arrived to Toontown.
- Silly Saturday returned.
- Options - introduced features such as keybinds, anti-aliasing, animation blending, and an overhaul of movement mechanics.
- Silly Meter - introduced new elements of gameplay and friendly competition amongst Toons with Silly Teams.
- Sellbot Task Force expansion - introduced Sellbot Field Offices, an expanded taskline involving the Sellbot Task Force, the Sellbot Task Force Hideout, an overhaul of Toontown's battle system, a rebalancing update, and more.
- Under New Management - introduced the Supervisor Cogs, revamped Cog facilities, Version 2.0 Cog Disguises, new cosmetics, and more.
Minor features
This list does not include every minor feature and only contains the most notable minor features.
- New Toontown Rewritten logo and branding.
- New opening sequence and theme song.
- New music in Cashbot Headquarters.
- Toons are alerted by Good ol' Gil Giggles when enough golf balls pelt the Chief Executive Officer to completely slow him down.
- Certain accessories from Toontown Online returned.
- Estates were given a fishing bucket for convenience.
- All SOS cards may now be held by Toons.
- Districts were renamed to match closely with the theme of Toontown.
- SpeedChat-only districts such as Boingbury, Gulp Gulch, and Whoosh Rapids were implemented.
- Safe/super safe districts such as Blam Canyon, Gulp Gulch, Fizzlefield, and Splat Summit that disregard Cog Invasions, Invasion Summons, and certain events were implemented. This was changed again in the 3.5.0 update released on September 16, 2022.
