ToonTask

A ToonTask is a quest offered by NPCs for Toons to complete. Toons are assigned ToonTasks so that they can earn additional laff points, unlock several gag tracks, increase the number of gags they can carry through gag pouches, increase the number of jellybeans they can carry through jellybean pouches, and receive teleport access to the neighborhoods. ToonTasks can consist of many different objectives like defeating Cogs, delivering items or gags to shopkeepers, or going fishing.

Tasklines

Tasklines are how Toontown Rewritten's storyline is incorporated into the game and contain numerous ToonTasks that Toons are required to complete. Listed below is the order of locations that Toons advance to while completing tasklines, along with another list of taskline guides.

Other ToonTasks

"Just for Fun!" ToonTasks

As the name implies, "Just for Fun!" ToonTasks are optional and not required for completion, though they offer extra rewards such as jellybeans, clothing tickets, and cheesy effects. "Just for Fun!" ToonTasks can be deleted via the Shticker Book but progress is gone once they are deleted.

Silly Reader

A particular ToonTask that Toons can complete awards the Silly Reader, a tool that allows them to keep track of Silly Meter statistics. Toons must have at least 30 laff and/or a level 4 gag before they can speak to a Loony Labs Scientoon in Toon Hall to obtain the ToonTask.

April Toons Week ToonTasks are limited-time ToonTasks that Toons can complete to earn the Emergency Cream Pack, the Cog Buster Outfit, and 401 jellybeans. These ToonTasks are available between April 1st and April 8th during April Toons Week.

Cartoonival

Cartoonival ToonTasks are limited-time ToonTasks that Toons can complete to earn the Fluffy Doodle Pack and five "25" token unites. There is also a random assortment of ToonTasks known as TokenTasks that award Cartoonival tokens. These ToonTasks are available between September 19th and October 20th during Cartoonival.

Halloween

Halloween ToonTasks are limited-time ToonTasks that Toons can complete to earn a Pumpkin Head and Bloodsucker Cog Summons. Cat Toons also have a choice to become a temporary or permanent Black Cat. These ToonTasks are available during Halloween.

Winter Holiday

Winter Holiday ToonTasks are limited-time ToonTasks that Toons can complete to earn a Snowman Head, Santa's Bag, and Cold Caller Cog Summons. Deer Toons also have a choice to earn a temporary or permanent red nose and bear Toons have a choice to become a temporary or permanent Polar Bear. These ToonTasks are available during the Winter Holiday.

Recovery rates

Certain ToonTasks instruct to recover various specific items by defeating Cogs or going fishing. The table below shows terms and percentages that the ToonTasks may have.

Trivia

If a Toon does not like the ToonTask offered by a specific HQ Officer, they can try speaking to other HQ Officers, since each HQ Officer typically has different sets of ToonTasks to offer. ToonTasks also change on an hourly basis.
If a Toon knows which NPC is involved in the next objective of a ToonTask, they may visit them to begin the ToonTask, which is a method that helps avoid repetitive visits to Toon Headquarters after every completed objective. For example, Toons can visit Lil Oldman instead of first visiting an HQ Officer if there is a need to visit him.
